Artsbox Residency, 2017

Footscray and its surrounds in the City of Maribyrnong is well-known for its multi-ethnic and multi-cultural population. I spent my time at the Artsbox Residency engaging with the community to develop an installation that reflects diversity and cohesion. Using mixed media collage as a medium for people to tell their stories by way of little vignettes that they create. At the end of the residency, they were brought together and shown as an installation at Footscray Library.
